Hi Im Tamsin!  I take impactful & authentic photographs of people and things!

I was always meant to be a photographer. I know that now. I grew up with a camera in my hand, photographing everything from my own feet (imagine how much those would sell for now), rhythmic gymnastics competitions,  thunderstorms, and eventually stunning portraits of my closest friends. Something held me back from thinking I could make it a career but I knew it was my dream and most likely my destiny.

Documenting connection is everything to me. Connection between two lovers, a mother and her unborn baby, or the connection between a consumer and a brand or product. I view them all so similarly and I am always trying to tell a story with everything I photograph. It’s the way I see the world. And a space where all my passions meet. Playfulness, movement, emotion, and connection.

Photography has always been my creative outlet, but it has grown to be a part of my way of life.

I am a Thalassophile.

Although my deepest connection is to the ocean, I have truly never met a body of water I didn’t love, and have NEVER regretted a choice to swim, no matter how cold. Living in Kelowna, it is an obvious option for me to incorporate this love into my business as much as I can. Whether its sultry moments between two lovers beachside, a clothing company that I am shooting for blowing in the sea breeze or an expecting mother in the lake with the waves slowly splashing against her belly. It will always be my first choice to be close to the water.

When I’m not holding a camera I am

Jumping into a body of water

playing with my two boys

running, hiking, doing pilates

collecting vinyl records from the 60s & 70s

growing flowers in my garden

planning my next adventure
